Manifest Your Dreams By Bending Reality
Sometimes in our daily lives we meet individuals that have a unique ability to affect us deeply. This article by Christopher Pinckley author of several self help books and blogger at Holistic Fitness 4 U, shares a personal story of how meeting Will Smith made a lasting impression on his life. Watch the video interview where Will Smith comments on the Law of Attraction and what it all means to him.
Will Smith comments on the Law of Attraction
Recently (in the past 2 years or so) Will Smith has come out to discuss what it takes to be who you want to be in this world. In his words he would much rather be ‘an idea instead of an icon’. What he is referring to here is that he wants to represent possibility and the human potential. His idea is that you create who you want to be in this world and you do it by deciding who you are first. Will says, “I believe that I can create whatever I want to create.” Will goes on to site that ‘ideas and thoughts’ are physical things in this Universe just like everything else. Will believes that you create your own reality and he is willing to die for what he believes in.
Creating your own reality is the goal for those of us who can rise up to face our deepest fears and step into the spot light to become who we came here to be. The first step is to decide who you are, not even who you want to be, but who you are. What do you represent? What ideal, mindset, action journey, concept, belief system, or goal is your defining characteristic. You see, this is actually the most difficult part because it requires that you fully believe in yourself in order to make this decision. In turn, that requires that you face your deepest fears and confront them head on.
Creating your own reality is your Divine Birthright and it’s the reason you came here. You didn’t come here to run with the herd or to follow in someone else’s footsteps. You came here to create your own reality and in your own way.
“Being realistic is the most commonly traveled road to mediocrity.”-Will Smith
In this fast paced, disposable society it’s difficult to actually take the time to discover who we really are as human beings and it’s so unfortunate. I agree with Will Smith’s comments on the Law of Attraction and how hard it can be to face your deepest fears and really get to know yourself. It is a crucial step for all self improvement.

It is human nature to desire love, it’s natural and yet so many of us have difficulty with it. If you can learn how to align with the power of love your life will never be the same. Rhonda Byrne teaches about creating what you desire through the laws of attraction in all of her books, the Secret, the Power and the Magic. Today, Scott F. Paradis has written this article appearing on White Dove Books which expands on Rhonda Byrnes message.
How to Align With the Power of Love
You are meant for great things. Your life is one of unlimited potential and unconstrained opportunity. Well-being and goodness are the fundamental states of this nature. The overwhelmingly positive force of life is love. As a creative being life doesn’t happen to you, life responds to you. The difference between a beautiful, bountiful, loving existence and anything less is the degree to which you align with and leverage the power of love.
Rhonda defines the creation process in three steps: imagine, feel, and receive. Imagination is the means to address a desire. From an impulse of want the imagination projects a condition to satisfy that desire. The projection itself creates the condition. Once the imagination creates, the task is left to the body to feel. By feeling love for the object of desire an individual attracts that circumstance into his or her life. All that remains is receiving.
The key to the creative process is to feel as completely as possible. To immerse yourself in the sensation of loving with complete acceptance, complete awareness, and complete satisfaction. Loving without condition is pure magic. Imagination creates, feeling attracts. Since you are one with the energy, the substance of the universe, what you desire and focus on is drawn to you. The more positive energy you are able to focus on a condition the more quickly you encounter that result.
If you are having trouble sorting the good from the bad, trouble maintaining positive feelings, then draft a “checklist of love.” Refer to your checklist daily to remind yourself of all the things you are thankful for. Stir within yourself sensations of love for those items on your checklist and you will come to experience more love.
Money, relationships, and health are all drawn to you in the same way. You have the reins, you hold the power to make your own life. Life is magical. Ask to experience the magic. Seek to find the magic. Embrace feelings of love to make the magic. The power is in you. Your life is your opportunity, your canvass of expression, your chance for giving.
In giving you receive, so choose to give unconditional love and you will live an amazing life. You have the power, use it.
Awareness is the key to learning how to align with the power of love. I suggest meditation for awakening and sharpening your awareness. There are also many other benefits from meditation.

A special message about sharing gratitude without delay whenever possible. Take more opportunities to let the goodness in your heart shine each day and share your gratitude with the world. Something I was taught as a young lady was to respond quickly when I was given a gift. My father made sure that I offered a phone call or a hand written note to my grandparents, aunts and uncles whenever I received a gift for any occasion. Sounds simple right? It was a simple way of teaching me how good it feels to say thank you for all the blessings in my life. Thanks Dad.
The following post by Scott, on Attitude of Gratitude is also about sharing gratitude without delay, putting a little “rush” on it makes a huge difference.
Sharing Gratitude Without Delay
If someone has been kind, thank him or her today. Yes, we can wait and buy that person dinner next week. but how about writing an e-mail this afternoon or leaving a message on a telephone answering machine telling how much you appreciate the kind words or deeds?
We cannot show gratitude without sharing it with someone. When we show our gratitude, it’s a way of sharing our joy with that person. Even when we do something as simple as burning a candle to show gratitude to God, it shares our joy with everyone who sees the flame of the candle. It strengthens their faith and reminds them to show their gratitude, too.
Make showing and sharing your gratitude a part of your life. If someone does something nice for you, share your happiness with that person. Send a card or make a phone call. If you believe that a prayer has been answered by God, share your gratitude with God. Tell someone, or thank God publicly at your worship service. If you have had a victory in your recovery, show your gratitude by sharing it with others in your group. Then share your gratitude with them for the help they’ve given, too.
Demonstrate gratitude in your actions every day. Gratitude is more than just a thought process and more than just a Sunday-morning church activity. Demonstrate your gratitude through your compassion, and your tolerance. Gratitude strengthens and supports our relationships with God and with other people. Make a commitment to show your gratitude by sharing it with others whenever you have the opportunity.
We can show our gratitude for life in even our smallest actions. Find a way to demonstrate your gratitude to the universe. Feed the birds! Action gives life to ideas. When we start to look for ways to show our gratitude, we will find more and more to be grateful for.
Gratitude is a form of self-expression that must be shared. We cannot have an attitude of gratitude without having an object of that gratitude. ~More Language of Letting Go

Rhonda Byrne wants you to appreciate your bills. There are plenty of ways that you can have more gratitude each and every day but can you really learn to appreciate your bills? I think it makes sense. If you stop complaining about having to spend your hard earned money long enough to realize that each time you are able to pay for something, you are paying your own way in life and inviting more abundance, now that is something to appreciate!
Susan reviews the “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne on her blog called Find the Real You. She shares how the financial exercise for day 8 caused a flood of gratitude for her.
Rhonda Byrne Teaches You How To Appreciate Your Bills
I’m working through Daily Gratitude experiments from The Magic –
The Magic is about creating abundance, fulfillment, happiness and success in our lives. I’m sharing the results of carrying out the exercises in the book over 28 consecutive days.

Yesterday I read the chapter called The Money Magnet
Understanding how gratitude produces abundance in our lives, The Magic reminds us of the simple fact that ‘Gratitude is riches, complaint is poverty’ Any complaining about money will draw more of the same to us so it’s important to monitor our thoughts and words around money.
Giving thanks for the money we do have may seem fairly straightforward but how often do we actually think to give thanks for our bills? It’s easy to overlook this opportunity to give thanks for the money we receive to pay our bills and we miss out on a huge opportunity to give thanks every day. Most of feel inclined to complain about our bills, concentrating negative thoughts on the fact that we have had to pay out. The best thing we can do if we want to attract more abundance into our lives, is to give thanks continually for the money that comes into our lives (even if it goes back out again fairly quickly!)
The exercise for Day 8 was to take as many unpaid bills as possible and to write across them the words ‘Thank you for the money’ (feeling gratitude for the money even if you don’t have it at the time) and then when the bill has been paid ‘Thank you – paid’. For online bills, send them to yourself by email and put ‘Thank you for the money’ in the subject heading.
I’ve was inspired to give this exercise a try. I’ll be honest, at first it felt a bit forced but I kept it up for a few days and now I really do have more gratitude for the flow of money that I am blessed to have in my life, and I do appreciate my bills. Thank you Rhonda Byrne…

The Magic by Rhonda Byrne was released just a few short weeks ago and what surprised many readers was that it was not written to be read all at once and then left on the shelf. This is a book that stays with you while you work through daily gratitude lessons in your own personal way. You’ll notice your life change almost immediately and you will want to know more.
The following is a review of “The Magic” by Rhonda Byrne found on My Spiritual Life, a hub page that I also enjoyed. More than just a review of the book, these examples of gratitude made me realize that it is so simple, anyone can do it.
The Magic by Rhonda Bryne
I got inspired after reading this book. I immediately started practicing the techniques taught in the book. As soon as i get up in the morning i practice gratitude. Below are some of my gratitude statements:-
- I thank god for giving me this wonderful life. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you…
- I am thankful for being alive. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
- I am happy, grateful and thankful to my building owner and the construction company who built my house. It is such a wonderful house. I like the tiles, the floor, bathroom and the centralized air conditioner which keeps me cool. Thanks to god for giving me this opportunity to live in this house. Thanks to my company for giving me the salary which helps me to rent such a good house. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
- I am happy, grateful and thankful to my wife for getting up early and make green tea for me. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
- I am thankful to the toothbrush and paste which helps keep my tooth clean. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you
… I keep on constantly and deliberately giving gratitude after i get up in the morning. After sometime when i loose focus i again find myself thinking negative thoughts and other worries start kicking in. I start thinking about work.
Now at this state i am no longer giving gratitude. I can actually see and feel my thoughts slowly drifting. I can also feel the surge of negative thoughts and feelings coming in. The moment i realize this point i immediately start the gratitude technique again. I start giving thanks to whatever i see near me. After just a few gratitude statements my positive vibe comes back again. I start feeling good again. My mind becomes calm and relaxed once again. I think this is law of attraction.
Now how do you get back to gratitude when you drift into chaos and worry? The Magic by Rhonda Byrne reveals ways you can return to the peaceful place of gratitude. LIKE this post and see more like it on http://themagicthesecret.com.
